Availability

 

The Autonomous Race Management System comprises of both software and hardware components that will be sold separately.

  1. PC Software
  2. CU Microprocessor
  3. (Optional) Built-in IR electronic circuit track.

 

The connection to the Carrera Race system has taken numerous iterations and research over the last 5+ years. The latest connectivity uses a dual core microprocessor with built-in WiFi running at 240MHz and connects to the PC via the WiFi connection.

Pricing is not yet available.

Initially the Autonomous Race Management System will be available only in the United States.

PC Software

Installation of the PC Software will be fully automated using standard installation software. Some specific customization may be necessary, but will be straight forward.

Installation of the PC Software can only be made on one computer.

 

CU Microprocessor

This component will be sold in two forms.

  1. Kit (containing all components and wires, but knowledge of electronics and soldering will be necessary)
  2. Fully assembled

This is a new product and only a limited number of the CU Microprocessors will be initially built and sold. The Kit version will be shipped with appropriate build instructions.

 

(Optional) Built-in IR electronic circuit track

This component will be sold in two forms.

  1. Kit (containing all components and wires, but knowledge of electronics and soldering will be necessary)
  2. Fully assembled

This is a new product and only a limited number of the Built-in IR electronic circuits will be initially built and sold. The Kit version will be shipped with appropriate build instructions.
